Important Information

Waxing
Do not have heat treatments or undertake exercise (e.g. sauna, sunbed, Jacuzzi, workout or swim etc) 8 hours before or after  waxing.  Avoid wearing “best” underwear for bikini wax.  Avoid deodorants after under arm wax.  Use a sensitive deodorant for around 2-3 days after waxing.

Facials
Avoid make-up 24 hours after a facial, or wear minimal make-up (treatment foundation) if going back to the office or a night out.

Eye Lash/Eye Brow Tinting
This requires a 24-hour patch test for all new clients to Tulsi and for those who have never had tinting done before.  Try not to wear WATERPROOF mascara as this takes time to remove and costs extra.

Alcohol
Never consume alcohol before any treatment as this will lead to skin sensitivity and is also a health and safety risk!

Consultations
A full consultation will be given to all new clients visiting Tulsi for any treatments.  This will add approximately 10 minutes to your first treatment.  This allows the therapist to tailor make your treatment to suit your needs and determine any medical conditions that might be contra-indicated to your treatments.

Self-Tan Applications
Always wear loose, dark clothing.  Tight clothing/underwear will rub off your tan.  Any skin disorders, or use of medication or antibiotics, must be communicated to the therapists and will affect the outcome of the tan.  Home care products purchased help you to “top-up” your tan.

Gift  Vouchers
Great for Birthdays, Christmas gifts, Easter, Mother’s and Father’s Day, or just to say “Thank You”.  We have vouchers for all occasions.  Vouchers are valid for three months only, and may be purchased at reception or by calling the salon.

Course Prepayment
We encourage clients to pre-purchase courses of treatment to enjoy the savings.

All courses are valid for 9 months and must be used within this period. Payment in full will be due on the first appointment of a course and will be valid for 9 months.

Course treatments are transferable. Booking courses of treatments can be made at reception or by calling the salon.

Teenage Treatments
Parental consent is required for all treatments offered to under 16 year olds, who must be accompanied by an adult.

Tulsi reserves the right not to treat clients below the age of 16.

Appointments, Cancellations and Gift Vouchers
All appointments must be reserved with a 50% deposit by credit or debit card and “No shows” on gift voucher treatments and all other treatments will be charged in full. Gift vouchers have no cash value and lost vouchers may not be replaced. Please give 24 hours notice for cancellations. Please note a credit card number will be required when confirming your appointment booking.

Complimentary Skin Analysis
Tulsi Salon Treatment includes a personalised consultation, professional skin analysis and problem solving prescription.

Expert Treatments
All our services are designed to provide maximum results in minimum time.  30, 45, 60 and 90 minute treatments are available at fixed prices providing options for even the busiest schedules.  Pampering and lingering options are also available.

Pedicure footwear
Please wear open toe sandals / flip flops for pedicures.

TULSI HEALTH & BEAUTY IS OPEN DAILY BETWEEN 9.00 AM AND 8.00 PM.

Arrival at Tulsi
Upon arrival at Tulsi, you will be greeted by our therapists who will explain the day's schedule to you as ,well as the facilities that you can enjoy during your visit.

Special considerations
Please notify our staff if you are pregnant or have any special medical considerations so that appropriate treatments can be recommended.

Prior to your day
it is recommended that no alcohol be consumed immediately prior to your treatment experience and that you consume plenty of water following any treatments.

Spa attire
Prior to your spa treatment, we would advise changing into the bath robe provided to allow for maximum relaxation. Please rest assured that all of our therapists are highly trained and your modesty will be protected at all times.
